Configuring an ODBC Driver for Datometry Hyper-Q

Datometry Hyper-Q uses ODBC drivers to interface with the downstream system. To use an ODBC driver with Hyper-Q, it needs to be installed correctly and functional in the host environment. Furthermore, the odbcinst.ini file containing driver information (usually located at /etc/odbcinst.ini) has to be copied to Hyper-Q's config directory.

Hyper-Q ships with its own UnixODBC driver stack and does not rely on the OS-installed UnixODBC driver stack. Hyper-Q also uses SQLDriverConnect and does not require the pre-configuration of data sources using odbc.ini.
